Counselling
Life can be overwhelming.
We all face moments of crisis or change where we are unsure about what our next step should be. We sometimes struggle with personal or professional challenges including navigating the complexities of living between multiple cultures.
Asking for professional help is not easy but it is the right thing to do, to help you cope.
Why I can help you and how: I am a psychologist and have worked as a counsellor for more than 20 years. I work with adults, teenagers and children.
My approach is tailored to your circumstances, helping you uncover your strengths, manage conflicts, and find lasting solutions that truly fit your life.
In my practice you will find a supportive space where you can reflect, explore possibilities, and move forward with greater resilience. My approach is culture sensitive, where cultural nuances are respected, and the potential impact of migration experiences, discrimination and trauma are recognised.
Systemic Therapy
While our families are the most important part of all our lives, conflict with partners or parents or children create stress. I can help you improve family relationships and communication by providing you the tools to resolve these conflicts and strengthen parenting skills. I work with individuals or multiple family members as required.
The systemic approach views problems in the context of relationships rather than as individual issues. It focuses on strengths and resources to develop solutions instead of focusing on problems and deficits.

Mediation
Mediation is a structured and voluntary method of resolving disputes with the help of a neutral third party, the Mediator. The goal is to facilitate constructive communication and negotiation that can lead to a win-win outcome that considers everyone’s interests.
I have had specialised training in Mediation and can offer mediation in the context of families, in social institutions or in any context where cultural differences play a large role in the conflict situations.
